Have you ever felt like everything in your life was falling apart?
Like you don’t recognize yourself anymore…
Like what once felt stable is now uncertain…
Like you’ve lost your sense of direction, identity, or even strength?
If you’ve been there—or you’re there right now—you’re not alone.
In Episode 3 of the W.H.O.L.E. Unveiled Series, we step into a powerful truth that many believers don’t talk about enough:
Sometimes what feels like destruction is actually God’s process of undoing and renewing.

Undoing can feel intense.
It can look like:
In this teaching, undoing is described as a kind of collapse or downfall—a breaking down of what once held you together.
And while that may sound scary, there is something important to understand:
Undoing is not the end of your story.
It is the beginning of transformation.

One of the hardest truths to accept is that God will sometimes allow what we built to fall apart.
Not to harm us.
Not to punish us.
But to remove what was never aligned with Him.
Many of us have built parts of our identity on:
And while those things may have helped us at one point, they can also keep us from fully walking in who God created us to be.
So God, in His love, begins to undo what is not rooted in Him.
Here’s the part most people don’t talk about:
Undoing feels like loss.
It can feel like:
Scripture reminds us that our old self must be crucified—and that process is not easy.
There is a real grief that comes with letting go of the life you thought you would have…
the person you thought you were…
the plans you thought would unfold.
And that grief is valid.
But it is also part of the process.
If you’ve been feeling lost, confused, or disconnected from yourself…
It may not be because something is wrong.
It may be because God is removing what no longer belongs.
When the old version of you begins to fall away, there is often a space in between:
Not who you used to be…
Not fully who you’re becoming yet…
That space can feel uncomfortable. Even scary.
But it is also sacred.
Because it is in that space that God begins to rebuild you.
God never undoes without renewing.
There is always a purpose behind the process.
While undoing breaks down what was built on the wrong foundation, renewal begins to:
Scripture tells us that through this process, we may walk in newness of life.
But here’s the key:
Renewal requires surrender.
We have to release control.
We have to trust God’s direction—even when it looks different from our own plans.
During this process, it’s natural to want to hold on.
To go back to what feels familiar.
To rebuild what God is trying to remove.
To resist the discomfort of change.
But resisting the process only prolongs it.
When we surrender, we allow God to move more freely in our lives.
We allow Him to complete the work He started.

One of the most powerful lessons in this season is learning to trust God’s direction over your own.
We often come into life with a plan:
“I’m going this way.”
“This is how it’s supposed to look.”
“This is what success looks like for me.”
But God, in His wisdom, may redirect you.
And while that can feel frustrating or confusing, it’s often because:
He sees what you cannot.
Trusting Him means being willing to let go of your timeline, your expectations, and your version of the plan.
Because what He has for you is greater than what you could create on your own.
If you are in a season where everything feels undone…
Hear this clearly:
You are not being destroyed.
You are being rebuilt.
God is not removing things to leave you empty.
He is making room for something new.
Something stronger.
Something more aligned.
Something rooted in Him.
Seasons of undoing and renewing can feel isolating—but they don’t have to be.

What you’re walking through right now is not the end.
It’s the middle.
And on the other side of this process is a version of you that is:
You may not fully see it yet…
But God does.
And He is faithfully working—undoing what no longer serves you, and renewing you into who you were always meant to become.
